(e.w.) there is a brand new copy of the entire universe forming in his head. yesterday i was contemplating the miracle of life while watching him eat a fresh baked chocolate chip cookie with milk. every kid is a brand new world. the joy of cookies and milk is completely re-invented. simple pleasures are so new, novel, unspoiled- it seems to nearly overloading his circuts with joy. watching from the outside, it's impossible for me to trully comprehend, but still a wonder to behold.
