a gamble

i took a gamble last night and stayed up after the kids went to sleep at 8:00... and did bills and my taxes; instead of going to sleep while i had the chance. it payed off. i did work for 2 hours and got stuff done... and the baby slept until 12:00, so I got 2 hours sleep. then again slept from 1:00 till 4:00, and 5:00 till 6:15. if we can do it like that every night then i'll be pretty good. i need 2 hours of no-kid time every night to get daddy stuff done. even if it means i'm missing out on sleepy time!
